Video-Game Music Composer

Joshua Sattaur

I'm Joshua, a composer with a passion for cinematic music and video games. I love telling stories through music, whether it's creating a standalone soundtrack or writing music that enhances the emotion and narrative of a visual experience.

Music has a unique ability to communicate without words, and that's what I strive for in every project I take on—to capture the emotion, atmosphere, and story of each moment through a distinctive musical voice.

I've had the pleasure of working on a number of fantastic projects, most recently as the sole composer for Sea Beyond, the debut title from Fail Forward Games, currently in development. My work has included composing the main themes, battle music, and town themes, crafting a bespoke soundtrack that reflects the game's unique identity. It's always an incredibly rewarding experience, balancing creativity with the challenge of delivering high-quality music to production deadlines.

Hi, you're probably wondering who I am, right?

Latest Projects

Most recently I've had the pleasure of working with Fail Foward Games, a team of talented developers working on their 1st ever title 'Sea Beyond'. Influenced by the culture of the Taíno people, who are indigenous Arawak people of the Caribbean.

I have been working on video game music packs to help developers in need of loopable high quality music for their projects without the cost of hiring a composer out of budget.

A project I really enjoyed (due to myself loving DnD) came from a YouTuber under the name PonWind0727, who gave me the opportunity to create the intro theme for his DnD series 'Isekai DnD - stuck in another world'.
